Belgian police wrapped up a raid on an abandoned hotel near the French border on Thursday (March 31), in investigations linked to a foiled plot to carry out an attack in France.
A convoy of military vehicles was seen leaving the scene after a search lasting several hours.
Belgian prosecutors confirmed that the raid was linked to the arrest of Reda Kriket in Argenteuil last week in connection with a failed attack on French soil.
Locals said the hotel had been disused for at least three years and there were no signs of life inside.
