Azhar Official Trailer, First Look , Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri, Prachi Desai: More often, a lot of controversies happen in Bollywood as well as in Cricket. This time, they are one step ahead as Anthony D’souza has decided to make a biopic film on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Emraan Hahmi and Prachi Desai are in lead roles where Emran has to portray the character of Azharuddin. The film will be produced under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures. The film is scheduled to release in May 2016. Talking about the film, former skipper revealed that Emraan is his favorite actor and he never misses any Emran’s movie. Further, he added that Emraan would be just perfect for the role. Emraan Hashmi launched the teaser on the micro blogging site Twitter. In the teaser viewers were presented with the life of former skipper from a famed player who could die for his nation to being termed as traitor. Emraan tells viewer three things which best describe the life of former skipper; A person who believes in god, his two wives and the black phase of his career where he faced allegation of match-fixing. Azhar led the Indian Cricket team in most of 1990s. He was implicated in a match fixing scandal in 2000 and banned for whole life. Later in 2012, Andhra court lifted the ban.
