India stands with Brussels to combat terrorism says PM Modi: MEA

Brussels, Mar 30 (ANI): Ministry for External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker international terrorism in the context of the recent terror attacks in Brussels, and said India would support to combat terrorism. Swarup said discussions related to global and regional issues like climate change situations arising out of migration crisis were also examined. Swarup added that European Investment Bank (EIB) President Werner Hoyer and European Union Parliament President Martin Schultz also joined the working dinner held in honour of Prime Minister Modi. He said EIB's investing other infrastructural projects in India was also discussed. Sawrup said the important agreement signed was that of the Lucknow Metro project worth 450 million Euros, but the agreement was signed for 200 million Euros.
