MEXICO CITY — Paper mache effigies of GOP 2016 presidential nominee frontrunner Donald Trump were blown up and or burned across Mexico on Saturday after dozens of towns on the south side of the future Great Wall of Trump decided the popular businessman would be a good stand in for Judas at the annual Judas Festival held just before Easter.

The tradition symbolizes Christ's victory over evil, while also providing a nice excuse to blow stuff up. An Obama effigy and paper ISIS fighter were also reportedly set alight, but crowds filmed by Reuters seemed happiest at Trump's incineration as they enthusiastically chanted 'death' as the Trump doll exploded.

The comparison to Judas may not be entirely fair, however, as any who have read Trump's book (which is selling great, by the way) knows this deal artist would have never accepted just 30 pieces of silver to betray Christ. (He would have gotten a much better deal my friends, trust me. — Guaranteed.)

All in all, with Trump's popularity rate in Mexico in the low sub-digits, it seems highly probable that President Trump's first overseas trip will not be to Mexico.
