Hello everyone you are tuned into ClevverMusic! Ryan Seacrest and the ClearChannel programming chief Tom Poleman announced the 3rd annual iHeartRadio music festival lineup this morning and its gonna be one you dont want to miss. The superstar festival this year is going to be September 20th and 21st at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas and the big headliners include a little something for everyone. Friday evening will feature Keith Urban, Muse, Chris Brown and J. Cole while Saturday performing is Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Tim McGraw, Ke$ha and Maroon 5 will perform. The most surprising headliner iHeartRadio served up is Sir Elton John who was added to the Friday night lineup! Does this mean new music is coming? And we can say the same for the other shocking act announced: Katy Perry! The Teenage Dreamer will be making her way back to the stage after a year of lying low, and that can only mean one thing: new music! The singer has been keeping quiet about her follow up album to Teenage Dream, which was released in 2010, but hopefully we will hear a new song or two in September! And it wouldnt be iHeartRadio fest without some duets (remember Pink and No Doubt last year?) so this year Adam Lambert and Queen will perform, along with other surprise guest performances. Something new being brought to the event this year is the Festival Village, which will be running during the daytime with multiple stages spread out over a 15-acre parking lot. Miley Cyrus will headline the Festival Village, and also performing are Avril Lavigne, AWOLNATION, The Wanted and Jason Derulo. And since Miley is performing that surely means more new Miley music is on the way, or possibly her entire album? Lets hope so! Other guests and information will be released closer to the festival and tickets go on sale this Saturday July 20th, and last year it sold out in minutes!
