The theme of this episode is 'Hits of the Decade'. The show initiates with the performance of Piyush Kapoor, who sings 'Bheege Honth Tere' in his rock style. His rocking performances makes Shreya Ghoshal yell out "Once More". His mentor Sonu Nigam gets a rose from Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his rendered version of the song. Next to set the stage on fire are the Sajda Sisters who perform on 'Mehboob Mere'. Their beautiful singing make them earn a standing ovation from all the Judge Gurus. Geet Sagar enters the stage with style, singing the title song from the movie 'Don' featuring Shahrukh Khan. Sahiti G washes out everyone with her bold performance on 'Barso Re'. Attempting a Shreya Ghoshal's difficult song in front of her and with such confidence makes her get a standing ovation from Sonu Nigam. Nirmitee performs 'Saathiya' and transforms it into a great amalgamation of bollywood, rap & classical. Everybody enjoys the song as much as they do on stage. Kartar Singh Yadav attempts a youthful romantic number by KK, 'Haan Tu Hai'. Seema Jha enlightens the stage with her performance on 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna'. She sings this soul touching hit from Sonu Nigam/Alka Yagnik in a very peaceful way. Shreya Ghoshal tells that she missed out a few things in this performance but Sonu Nigam defends her. Then Sonu Nigam also gets on the stage with Seema on her request and hums a few lines of the song. Deewana Group performs an A.R. Rehman hit 'Mitwa' from the movie Lagaan. Their cracking performance with smooth coordination and essence of the song amaze everyone. Amit Jhadav performs a beautiful romantic number 'Zara Sa', originally sung by KK. His passionate singing is appreciated by the Judge Gurus. After the 18 mind blowing performances of this week, the performer of the week award goes to Piyush Kapoor for his performances on 'Tumse Hi' & 'Bheege Honth Tere'.

Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups.
