Jammu, Mar 26 (ANI): People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti and former deputy chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Nirmal Singh on Saturday met Governor N.N. Vohra to stake a claim to form a government in the state. Mehbooba thanked the saffron party for extending unconditional support to her party and said that the alliance was forged keeping in mind the secular public of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Singh said that further actions will be taken to form the government in the state. The state was placed under Governor's rule on January 8 after the demise of then chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on January 7.
