Finally, the long anticipated Grand Finale of X Factor India starts. The Final 3 performers, Geet Sagar, Sajda Sisters and Seema Jha are prepared to hit the stage for the last time. Geet Sagar sings 'Mann Ka Radio' and 'Bhaag D K Bose', Seema Jha enters with her entertaining act on 'Hum To Aise Hain Bhaiya' and 'Badal Pe Paon Hain'. Sajda Sisters present two songs poles apart, 'Sasural Genda Phool' and 'Darling'. Sanjay Leela Bhansali welcomes Deewana Group who sings yet another soulful Sufi song, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Afreen'. Then Sanjay once again introduces the cute all diva group, Last Minute in his poetic style. They touch everyone with their angelic performance on 'Tu Muskura'. Anushka Manchanda performs a rock version of 'Dum Maro Dum' and then Piyush Kapoor jumps in with hindi version of 'Jailhouse Rock' proceeded by 'Aaja Aaja Main Hoon Pyar Tera'. They completely rock the stage with their performance. Then the innovative Nirmitee once again hits the floors with their ground-breaking performance on 'Senorita'. Shreya Ghoshal shows the other side of her personality by singing and dancing on 'Bhor Bhaye Panghat Pe', 'Husn Ke Laakhon Rang' & 'Honth Raseele'. Judge Guru Sonu Nigam enters the stage with a funny performance on 'Ek Chatur Naar'. Seema Jha also joins him on the following songs 'Hum The Woh Thi' and 'Paanch Rupaiya Baara Aana'. After watching a visual compilation of some memorable moments Seema Jha sings 'Koi Lauta De Mere' and is followed by her mentor Sonu Nigam with 'Aa Chal Ke Tujhe'. Ali Zafar gives a surprise visit to the stage of X Factor with a singing performance on 'Panghat Pe Naache Madhubala', and Imran Khan follows him with an entry on 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. They sit as the chief guests of the evening. Katrina Kaif too reaches the sets of X Factor India. She makes a dramatic entry on her latest hit 'Dhunki'. She has Ali Zafar and Aditya Narayan fighting over her. Then after some comedy on stage Ali Zafar, Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif promote their upcoming film 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. Sajda Sisters once again enter the stage with their serene performance on 'Bahara'. Geet Sagar gives a bouncy performance on 'Main Tera Dhadkan Teri'. Then Seema Jha steals the show with her performance on 'Sheila Ki Jawani'. Finally the moment arrives as Katrina Kaif takes out the original envelop carrying the result. She takes the name of Geet Sagar and he becomes the first ever winner of X Factor India. He wins the trophy, the cash prize of Rs.50,00,000 and a Tata Manza car. He also earns the chance to sing for Karan Johar's Dharma Production and a global recording contract from Sony. So, the magical journey of the first season of India's biggest singing reality show, X Factor, comes to an end.

Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor. Of this lot, the top 12 will be selected to participate in the Galas and prove their mettle to the entire nation

As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
