2014 marked the second year of activity for the Gas to Health Initiative (GTHI), a non-profit group established with the intention of educating the Nigerian public about the benefits of switching to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as their main fuel source for use in cooking and heating. For this edition of the talk show programme Cook to Live, the team has invited Mr. Nuhu Yakubu from the BannerGas Group for a discussion regarding the state of the Nigerian LPG market at the start as of the start of 2015.

Mr. Yakubu expresses his views on the trends in the LPG industries. He additionally brings to the forefront of the conversation the issue of sustainability of this valuable natural resource, explaining the ways in which Nigeria’s rich deposits of natural gas means that, in the long run, LPG is the smart choice for the Nigerian public.
