TORONTO — Parking in a handicap spot is incredibly rude, but a video of a confrontation between a woman who did so and a man filming the encounter, has left many wondering which of the two individuals is worse.
A video purportedly shot recently shows a man identified by the Toronto Sun as Ryan Favro, confronting a woman at a Tim Horton's restaurant parking lot.
After asking her if she is handicapped, to which the woman replies in the negative, Favro repeatedly asks her, "What makes you so special?" Following being hounded by Favro, the woman becomes agitated and throws both cups of coffee she apparently had just purchased, at Favro.
Much swearing is uttered before the woman begins to drive away, but she then appears to steer her vehicle in the direction of Favro, in what he described as an attempt to intimidate him.
The video garnered 100,000 views on YouTube before it was removed, but it was back on the video-sharing site a short time later, this time available from dozens of other YouTube channels.
Toronto police say so far no one (read, Ryan Favro) has come forward regarding the incident and no investigation can occur unless a complaint is officially made. The Toronto police spokesperson did however call the woman's behavior, "appalling."
Viewers commenting on YouTube channels and other media, however, are questioning the behavior of Favro, who seems to go further than mild shaming and pushes his confrontation with the woman to what could be considered harassment.
Watch the video and let us know who you think is in the wrong.
