Honda has announced a couple of changes to the rather overlooked NM4 Vultus, including new cylindrical silencer and a whole host of colour schemes for 2016 - well, in Japan anyway.

First up, the heads at Honda have announced that the rather ugly exhaust, previously seen on the older NM4 Vultus, will be replaced in line with the strangely designed model's additional design cues.

The revised NM4 Vultus will also be offered in a total of 13 colour schemes, including the standard black or white options.

The 2016 NM4 Vultus will come with a 670cc parallel-twin, eight-valve, liquid-cooled PGM-FI engine derived from the rest of Honda's range of super-scooters such as the Integra and CT series, as well as an automatic six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). As far as scooters go, it's also rather robust, featuring a wet weight of 255kg, despite the 11-litre fuel tank not exactly providing a hell of a lot of range between journeys. ABS and Honda's combined braking system will come as standard.
