A major fire that erupted at the Deonar dumping ground on Saturday continued even on Monday. As many as 10 fire engines and eight water tankers were rushed to the spot on Sunday but the situation was still not brought under control. BMC officials said the fire appears to have erupted at multiple locations and the process to control the flames is in progress.
