Three teenage girls turned on the heroics and saved a budgerigar bird stuck on the train tracks in Australia.

Surveillance footage released by Queensland Rail shows the trio walking as they spot a bird moving swiftly on the tracks.
This prompts a few moments of confusion as one of the them rushes back. 
Due to the girls' help, operators were able to stop the trains in time.
In the video, the teenagers look on as a train is briefly stopped and a transit worker removes the bird affectionately referred to as a "budgie."
