Yahoo C.E.O. Marissa Mayer is not going down without a fight.
Despite calls from activist investors for her ouster and a looming proxy fight, Mayer told Charlie Rose in an interview Wednesday on PBS that she "would love to be running Yahoo" a year from now.
For months, Yahoo has been under pressure from activist investors demanding that the company spin off its core Internet business and jettison Mayer.
Mayer has since shifted strategy internally, cutting costs and planning to lay off 15 percent of Yahoo’s 11,000 staff members.
