Pune, Mar 07 (ANI): The Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MCW) on Monday batted for equality of both genders worshipping gods. Bhumata brigade, the women group that led the protests at Shani Singhnapur temple, is also organising a march led by activist Trupti Desai to Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik. Desai said if women are allowed to enter the main sanctum at Kashi Vishveshwar, then why not in Trimbakeshwar temple. Trupti added that they are not against any custom but wrong should not be tolerated. The group has demanded that women must be allowed inside the temple on Shivratri.
