Kendrick Lamar has recently dropped his latest project, Untitled Unmastered, featuring eight untitled tracks, and the rapper’s fans (including LeBron James) went crazy, according to the Verge.
Kendrick Lamar’s new Untitled Unmastered album is available on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, and Tidal.
However, it’s not an “album” as such — it’s rather a “project,” according to the official release description.
The project consists of eight untitled tracks originally recorded in 2013 and 2014.
Those tracks are said to be “warm-up” tracks for his latest album To Pimp A Butterfly, which was released in March 2015.
Spotify was the first one to leak Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled Unmastered on Thursday.
Each of the tracks has the word “untitled” and a series of dates and nothing else.
It’s as yet unknown whether the leak was accidental, but it’s not the first time Kendrick Lamar’s music has been leaked on the internet.
Lamar’s official management then blamed the leak on Interscope Records, while TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith “thanked” Interscope personally via Twitter.
