Mumbai, Mar 03 (ANI): A 26-year old woman from Manipur was allegedly assaulted by a man in Mumbai. The victim was kicked, punched and dragged by her hair in the Santacruz area. The Mumbai Police has registered an FIR under section 354 (molestation) of the IPC at the Vakola Police station area. The victim's kin said her sister was scared and traumatised because of the incident. An eyewitness in the case said the passersby looked on and did not come for help. The eyewitness also said that things like these have become common in the area. As per police reports, the accused has fled to Bangalore.
