New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Stepping up their agitation against the arrests of Jawahralal Nehru University (JNU) students, Rohit Vemula suicide case and Ram Shankar Katheria's controversial statement on Muslims, the Youth Congress (IYC) staged a protest against HRD Minister Smriti Irani in the national capital on Wednesday. The protest march started from Jantar Mantar till Parliament. The protesters burnt effigy of Smriti Irani. Police used water cannons to disperse the protestors who tried to break down barricades. The protest march was also joined by Congress leaders and students from various universities across Delhi.
