MOBILE COUNTY, ALABAMA — A teen mom filmed rolling around on the ground, allegedly high on drugs, has been arrested by police, after a video spread online showing the woman's 2-year-old child witnessing the incident.
18-year-old Lauren Englett has been charged by police with reckless endangerment and domestic violence after the video of her and two friends went viral this past week. Recorded in the fall, the footage shows Englett convulsing on the ground, high on K2 spice.
K2 spice is a synthetic form of marijuana sold in smoke shops and convenience stores, but is produced with a number of chemicals banned by the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
In the video, Englett's 2-year-old son can be seen watching confused and helpless as his mother is enduring what appears to be a pretty bad trip. The woman taking recording the video, 19-year-old Rachel Rikard, is also high on spice, as is 25-year-old Jamie Jemison, who can be seen in the video trying to offer the toddler a bottle to calm him.
Rikard and Jemison have also been charged with reckless endangerment.
