After looking for a silent, compact, 1-tick pulse generator and not finding anything I liked, I made these two designs. One is 2x2x3 and generates a 1-tick pulse as a falling edge detector, the other is 1x2x4 and generates a 1-tick pulse as a rising edge detector. Both are compact, silent, and use very little redstone. =\r
