Interviewer: You had a great Super G Run but in the Slalom is also more pressure on the knee and also after the DNF of Lara Gut did you ski more safe?
Lindsey: Yeah at the beginning I thought I will give everything but when Lara Gut got DNF I said I won’t risk so much and see that I get to the finish. Also it wasn’t optimal and the agility wasn’t there and I was to cautious. But I made important points and that was my goal today because when I wouldn’t have started all would be over right now. Now I also have the red bib with two others fort he Super Combine.
Interviewer: How is the knee feeling? Will you go tot he hosptial for more examinations?
Lindsey: Yeah I have a appointment this afternoon for a MRI and I’ve to see how much the MCL is injured. I made Xrays and I’ve a fracture in my tibia plateu and there is a lot of blood inside. That’s like a ballon. Hopefully with some days rest and therapy and when hopefully the MRI isn’t worse it should be okay for the last races. Then I will make a long break.
Interviewer: Can we say after the Super Combine today „All's well that ends well“ afetr. what happend yesterday?
Lindsey: I thought yesterday that I can’t ski today. But I faught and everything can happen. I always stayed open in my head that there will be a little chance to make something today. With this mind set is everything possible.
