Srinagar, Feb 28 (ANI): The state authority on Sunday distributed relief cheques among 400 flood-hit traders in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar district. The decision to compensate the flood-hit traders was taken by late chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of villages devastated because of the floods in September 2014. Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Asgar Samoon said the relief amount would soon be distributed among the flood affected traders in other parts of the state.
