Rajkot (Gujarat), Feb 27 (ANI): A four-day ‘Krishi Mela’ is being organised here in Rajkot with the motive of educating farmers about the latest agricultural techniques and to promote organic farming. The agricultural exhibition kicked off yesterday at Shastri Maidan. The Chief Organiser Jayesh Radadiya said that the mela organised by city-based Infocom World, aims at promoting the adoption of organic farming. Emphasizing on the need of organic farming, Dr.Vallabh kathiriya, former union minister said the visitors are given proper guidance related to the same.Various equipments, fertilizers, irrigation systems, spray pumps are being displayed at the fair and over one lakh farmers are expected to visit the event.
