Dusty is a crop dusting plane who dreams of competing in Wings Around the Globe air race but hes afraid of heights. With the support of his flight instructor and mentor Skipper, his girlfriend Rochelle and lots of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true. \r

Planes is an upcoming spin-off of the 2006 animated Pixar film Cars Cars2, and the first film in the Planes trilogy. Sequel is called Planes 2 Fire and Rescue. Pixar animation studios will not be producing the film. Instead, its being produced by Disneytoon Studios and by John Lasseter, the director of Cars. Itll be theatrically released by Walt Disney Pictures in Disney Digital 3D.
