LINDEN, NEW JERSEY — A man was injured after a piece of scrap metal crashed through the windshield of the bus that he was riding in New Jersey on Thursday.

"I saw the guy leaning over and covered with blood. He definitely needed stitches. He was complaining of a bad headache, nausea, dizziness." Samuel Avery, a passenger on the bus told New York Daily News.

The bus had 59 passengers on-board at the time. A total of three passengers were seriously injured in the accident.
