On May 6, 2013, Ms. Shirley Turner, Highland Park resident and member of the Highland Park Human Rights Coalition (Part of Michigan Welfare Rights Organization) read a letter, regarding Mayor DeAndre Windoms abuse and incompetence, at the City Council Meeting for the City of Highland Park, Michigan. \r

Based on the abuses of power and incompetent management of the water system of the City of Highland Park, we, as residents of Highland Park and members of the Highland Park Human Rights Coalition, demand that the Michigan State Police investigate the office of Mayor DeAndre Windom. We also demand that Mayor Windom resign as the Mayor of Highland Park.
