Turkey's economy is feeling the pressure from Russia's ban on imports of Turkish fruit and vegetables. The ban is just one of the sanctions Moscow imposed after Turkey shot down one of its warplanes in November, 2015. The import bans took effect on January first. Many Turkish sellers are hit twice: once with the loss of a major market and again with the resulting drop in prices.
