Footage has emerged of a woman trying to take a photo on a beach in France only to be scuppered by large amounts of sea foam.

The video, filmed on January 1 on Belle Isle off Brittany, shows the sea foam spraying up at her as she tries to take photographs.

The filmer later wrote online: "During a big gale, on Donnant Beach in Belle-Île-en-Mer, my wife was taking a picture when she was completely covered by sea foam.

"I never see so much quantity of foam in this place, it was really wonderful."
