It's a true test for the optics as Dean Capuano hunts coues deer with Chris Denham, editor of Western Hunter Magazine in northern Mexico. The two hunters are pursuing the elusive coues in the scrub-brush covered hills of the Sonora Desert, and this whitetail sub-species requires extensive time scouting and glassing with spotting scopes to ensure that each buck is a worthy trophy.
