ROBERTO CAVALLI Backstage Autumn Winter 2014 2015 Milan Menswear by Fashion Channel
The Fall Winter 2014-2015 menswear, by Roberto Cavalli, encapsulated his vision of a man who is free spirited, never dull, and always impeccably dressed.
An overcoat starts out as herringbone at the bottom and gradually transforms to zebra print at the top. A slim-cut suit was paired with rock'n'roll inspired creepers with studs around the sole or done up in leopard. The surface of leather in biker jackets is reworked with studs from within to resemble the blister-like surface of tropical lizards.
For prints, they moved between animal patterns and graffiti, in line with the show's street-art inspired set, where models meandered between large industrial frames and graffiti-painted boxes.
On the catwalk we were transported in an urban location, really colored, where a youg Cavalli takes photos to the models.
