The Three Mesquiteers are forced to aid the getaway of a group of murderous train robbers. After a police shoot-out , which leaves the thieves dead, The Mesquiteers are accused of being accomplices. They make a daring escape and head for the thieves home base in the large, metropolitan city of Cosmopolis, where they hope to track down the leader of the hi-jackers.
