"It was a long struggle to capture the leopard," said Deputy Police Commissioner Dr S Boralingaiah. "Although it was injected with tranquilisers it could be captured only around when the medication took full effect." Rescuers have taken the animal to a sanctuary at Bannerghatta National Park.
