Donald Trump quipped during a rally on Monday, February 8, that the only way the cameras show the size of his rallies is when there are protesters. He made the remarks as police escorted a protester from a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, on the eve of the state’s primary.
Tamar Auber, who shot this video, said the crowd was instructed to chant “Trump” if someone should start protesting during the rally. Doing so would alert security, which is what happened in this video.
It’s unclear what the man was saying, and Auber said she could not hear what he was chanting either.
“I told you I like protesters because that’s the only way the cameras show how big the crowd is,” Trump is heard saying as the man is escorted out of the arena. Credit: YouTube/Tamar Auber
