In this video, I continue on the Langkawi Skycab Cable Car from the middle station to the top station. This cable car is supposedly the steepest in the world. As it ascends to the middle station, it is almost a 45 deg climb. From the middle to the top station, it goes across a steep valley, sometimes admid howling winds.
From the top station, you have commanding views of the surroundings. And we also go visit the Skybridge, a curved bridge.
Each gondola can accommodate 6 persons with a total weight of 480kg. The cost is 45RM (Malaysian Ringgit) per adult (or around 11USD). There is a limited capacity to the cable car and this place can get very crowded during weekends and peak seasons. Waits of more than 1 hour for the cable car is not uncommon. Therefore, consider spending an additional 50RM (approx. 12 USD) if you want to skip the lines.

"Hovering over jungle and climbing over 550 million years old rock, SkyCab gives you more than one unique experience. Be informed, SkyCab is located at the oldest part of South East Asia and the first to emerge from the ancient sea and estuary! That’s something to give a goose bump if you can get the gist. Come and experience it yourself.
"The Base Station is conveniently located at the foothill of the Machincang mountain. From here, visitors will be taken up to the cool Machincang mountain via the cable car system. The ride will be an exhilarating experience for everyone to enjoy. You will also be able to catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna that surrounds the area."
