The firm Microsoft unveiled on Tuesday 2 February an advertisement showing a possible use of its virtual reality headset HoloLens during a football game. Unlike the Occulus Rift HoloLens the helmet is not exactly the virtual reality, but rather augmented reality, simulating holograms in the field of vision of the person wearing the device. Microsoft takes advantage of this 50th edition of the Super Bowl, which will be held at Levi's Stadium on February 7, to propose an alternative to the traditional television so far.
In the same way that in the breathtaking demonstration of HoloLens at E3, we discover that this futuristic headset enables greatly expand a single screen, while benefiting many interactions. Currently a partner with the NFL, we must admit that this marvel of technology by Microsoft adapts perfectly to American football league in the United States.
