A young Koala is melting hearts around the world.
The joey named Lucy was found wandering alone around an Australia neighborhood, seeking respite from the sun.
When Lucy was rescued, she was also discovered to be suffering from conjunctivitis, an eye infection more commonly known as ‘pinkeye.’
Staff members at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, an organization founded by Steve Irwin, are now getting her healthy enough to go back out into the wild.
They are also making the animal an Internet sensation.
Over the past week, they’ve posted pictures and video of Lucy, including a particularly adorable clip showing her snuggled in a blanket and munching on eucalyptus leaves.
