On September 12th, 2015, Jack Hykaway, Jeff Keddy, Mark Perry, and I went around Western Manitoba to railfan the CN Rivers Subdivision and we sure got some great action! In this final part we save the best for last as we get horn shows, BC Rail leader, Welded Rail and More around a big curve at a bridge! Enjoy!
Train 11: Westbound Grain Train - 3:40 PM (0:07)
After a short wait, IC 2711 and CN 5728 haul a short grain train around the curve and under the bridge.
Train 12: Eastbound Mixed Freight With BC Rail Leader - 4:22 PM (2:30)
After a decent wait, a long mixed freight comes through with BC Rail 4652 leading CN 5653! On top of that they give us a good horn show! Thanks!
Train 13: Westbound Welded Rail and Mixed Freight - 5:10 PM (7:50)
A little while later CN 2004 leads BCOL 4625 with a long length of welded rail and mixed freight. Another horn show! Thanks!
Train 14: VIA Rail The Canadian #1 - 5:37 PM (12:13)
Around 27 minutes later, a late VIA Rail #1 rolls past us around the curve.
Train 15: Eastbound Intermodal Train - 6:07 PM (13:50)
Half an hour later, a long intermodal freight rolls on through and around the big curve.
Train 16: CN 2004 Light Move Over Big Bridge - 7:07 PM (18:52)
One hour later, CN 2004 runs light out of Rivers over a giant bridge over a river to rescue a train that ran out of fuel. Oops!
The End
