Avatar - James Cameron Reveals ""Avatar 2"" And ""Avatar 3"": Filmmaker, James Cameron reveals how he's crafting what's next for Pandora. This time the movie is set in the ocean of Pandora, rich of creatures and evocative images. Cameron said that the movie production will last 18 months less than the previous one and the movie will be released between late 2013 and early 2014. The main characters of the movie will be once again played by Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.
