Dimension Films have officially announced that Michael Myers is returning to Illinois to prey on a new generation of victims in the upcoming Halloween Returns. Production is scheduled to begin next month on this latest sequel in the beloved horror movie franchise. Marcus Dunstan has been set to direct, working from a screenplay he co-wrote with his writing partner Patrick Melton. No cast members have been announced. Reports have the project being "a standalone film set to reintroduce audiences to Michael Myers years after his initial rampage."
