The postmortem reports showed Reeva had suffered from bruises unrelated to the gunshots and these bruises were not given the due importance that should have been given. These bruises are a testimony that there had been a physical assault upon Reeva before she finally lost her life due to gunshots. These bruises were not inflicted upon her when she had locked herself up in the toilet but before she had fled to it for refuge.
