Watch this brave Florida mother fight off two carjackers

HIALEAH, FLORIDA — A security camera captured dramatic footage Monday night showing a mom fighting off two would-be car jackers at a Florida gas station.
The two suspects, Juan Carlos Gonzales and Nicholas Rosado, first allegedly tried to hijack the car on the other side of the gas pump, but the mother locked herself in the car, reported WSVN. Police told WSVN she fought back because she thought her two kids would've been abducted during the attempted theft.
The security footage shows two men move toward the woman's red convertible. One gets into the driver's seat while the other stays on the passenger side. However, the brave mother can be seen fighting back. The footage shows her tearing the ski mask off one of the suspects and eventually sending the two fleeing.
"She was a mom, and what that bad guy didn't know, in the back seat of that car were two kids," Hialeah Police Sgt. Carl Zogby told WSVN. "She wasn't gonna let them be taken, so she fought, she dragged the guy out of the car, and they both ran away like cowards."
Investigators say the carjackers got into a getaway car driven by suspect Rebecca Utria. Their high-speed getaway eventually caught the attention of a nearby patrol officer when their vehicle crashed into a fence.
All three are facing a $25,000 bond, reported WSVN.
