Visually impaired people to lead the way at car rally

Mumbai, Jan 24 (ANI): Sunday morning saw Mumbai participating in a unique visually impaired’s car rally. The event being organized by Round Table India (RTI) is in its 10th successive year. The cars will cover a distance of 45km over approximately two hours across the lanes of Central and South Mumbai with a Blind Navigator assigned to the drivers. They will guide the drivers through the entire route with the help of instructions given to them in Braille. After the rally the participants will return to NSCI for lunch followed by an entertainment show. This event is a kind of contribution to a cause for educating the underprivileged children in and around Mumbai.
