Kochi, Jan 23 (ANI): Kerala Chief Minister (CM) Oommen Chandy on Saturday flagged off the trial run of Rs. 51.8 billion Kochi Metro rail. The Kochi metro line stretching over 25 kilometres is the first metro line in the state, which will runs from Aluva to Pettah across 22 stations. The metro is proposed to cut the average travel time for a commuter from nearly two hours now to just 40 minutes.
