India’s leading web news channel, ‘Next 9 News’, envisages an exclusive program ‘Public Face’ aimed at introducing ordinary persons who rose to extraordinary stature and carved out a niche for themselves and became the sources of inspiration for generations to come. Today’s face in the program is the brave airhostess Neerja Bhanot who laid down her life at the tender age of 22 while saving the lives of passengers onboard an airplane. Posthumously, the young braveheart became the youngest recipient of the Ashok Chakra award. A Bollywood movie inspired by her life is also in the making in which the fashion diva Sonam Kappoor is playing Neerja Bhanot.
