Dramatic video has emerged from China of a fireworks factory exploding.

In the footage, filmed in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province on Wednesday, several firecrackers explode in the air while bright flames and heavy white smoke rise up.

According to local news, two explosions at the factory destroyed several nearby houses nearby. People reportedly felt tremors from the blasts all over Shangrao.

According to local reports, at least 48 people were hospitalised and one person was killed.
