Fed up with doing man’s bidding, an elephant has gone on a rampage in southern India with its handler clinging on to its back for dear life.

The moment the elephant snapped was filmed on a road in Kerala recently, the Indian Express reports.

The enraged beast wraps an abandoned autorickshaw in its trunk, effortlessly slamming it into a building and tossing it around the road.

With its work there done, the elephant turns to look for another target.

Meanwhile, its agile handler spies his chance and takes the opportunity to slide off the elephant’s back and down a power pole.

Unencumbered, the elephant continues on its destructive bent, taking aim at some shops further down the street.
