One person has been described as brain-dead and five others seriously injured in a clinical trial of a new drug in France.
Reports suggest the new drug was a painkiller containing cannabis, although France's health ministry have denied the claims.
The oral trial was conducted by a private laboratory in the western city of Rennes.
