http://bitly.com/mastergtr Can you use sweep picking in blues? Sure, why not? They way I mostly use sweep picking is to sweep over 3 strings, creating a really quick triplet. Sweep picking is often used by shredders, but you can use this technique in any style of music. Many jazz cats actually use sweep picking a lot.
