Jammu and Kashmir loses a political icon. Chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passes away after succumbing to a lung infection at the age of 79. His daughter Mehbooba will be the new Chief Minister of the state. While a 7 day state mourning has been declared following the CM's death, political leaders poured in to pay their tributes.
