Bhastrika Pranayam can be performed as follows:
1. Lift the hand to do the Pranayama Mudra.
2. Close the right nostril with the thumb
3. Inhale and exhale in rapid succession 20 times
4. During the 20th breath inhale and exhale deeply
5. Repeat the exercise with both nostrils
